Design

Designers can easily add formulas, field validation, and more to ensure data is captured accurately and completely.

Capture

Formatta enables end users to enter, save, and submit information to support any data collection
requirement. Licenses are freely distributable ensuring all users, citizens, employees, and constituents have access to easy electronic data capture.

Approve

Formatta provides simple-to-design and simple-to-use routings to ensure data is reviewed and approved before it is moved into enterprise applications. Routings can be based on process logic, form data, and signatures. Routing capabilities can be implemented in hours and routings can be created in minutes rather than the days and months it usually takes to implement complex workflow systems.

Integrate

The Formatta solution enables easy and secure integration between Formatta and applications such as HR, finance, customer service, administration, custom applications, and many more. Formatta integration is based on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) standards (e.g., SOAP) so data can be made available via web services. Data can also be moved to and from applications using standard SQL statements.

Digital Signing
Formatta's patent-pending digital signing feature allows users to take advantage of electronic signatures securely and inexpensively.

• Encryption: Uses 128-bit encryption for protection, privacy and non-repudiation of data — the same standards used by commercial banking applications. Encryption prevents any data changes and controls access, so data is always protected whether it's posted to a website or sent via email, or moved to other applications.
• Legally Binding: Formatta's architecture allows regulated industries to keep legally binding, non- repudiable copies of the electronic form and data as they were originally presented and submitted.

508 Compliance
Government agencies and many commercial organizations are required to make information technology
accessible to people with disabilities. Formatta fully meets Section 508 requirements. Formatta worked directly with the Department of Education, the General Services Administration, the Internal Revenue Service and the Social Security Administration, and many other organizations to incorporate support for Section 508 accessibility standards.

Transition to Electronic Data Capture

Sometimes it's not practical to eliminate paper-based data capture all at once. Formatta makes the transition to electronic data capture easy. With Formatta, you can collect data from paper-based forms as you transition to electronic data capture by taking advantage of Formatta Barcode. Formatta Barcode allows users to submit information either by electronic or paper-based methods.

With this hybrid transition approach, users can complete an electronic data capture screen, print out the completed information, which includes a secure barcode, then “submit” the information via hardcopy. Although the information arrives on paper, data can still be moved to critical applications electronically. Any flatbed or handheld scanner can read the barcode using Formatta Barcode. The barcode is decrypted and data is securely moved to applications and/or databases.
